Dr. Mash is a Texas native and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2020.
He then completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland to garner hands-on experience in multiple specialty areas (such as cardiology, neurology, internal medicine). To further his expertise, he went on to complete two specialty internships - one in internal medicine at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center and another in emergency and critical care at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Mash’s specialty training has given him an appreciation for challenging cases, collaboration with specialists, and the benefits of an early diagnosis.
Dr. Mash values open communication with pet owners and encourages questions to ensure everyone feels confident in the care plan. Outside of work, Dr. Mash enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, hanging with his dog (Ferdi), and watching movies (his favorite being Good Will Hunting). Dr. Mash loves spending time with his good friends from college who live in the Austin area. Dr. Mash is excited to be a trusted part of your pet’s care!
